Rainfall totals of 10 - 15 liters per square meter are expected.

In the Southern and Curvature Carpathians, rainfall totals will locally reach 15 - 30 litres per square meter, a new snow layer of 10 - 15 cm will accumulate, and at altitudes generally above 1,700 metres 20 - 30 cm of snow is expected. Ice and frost may form in isolated areas.

According to meteorologists, winds will intensify on Tuesday (24 February) across most of the country and on Wednesday (25 February) especially in the centre, east and south-western extremity. In lowland areas and in the mountains, speeds of 40 - 55 km/h are expected, locally reaching 60 - 70 km/h, temporarily blowing snow in the mountains and over small areas in Moldavia and Transylvania, and on Wednesday (25 February) and the night from Wednesday to Thursday (25/26 February) over smaller areas in Muntenia and Dobrogea.
