Romanian tennis player Victor Cornea and Portuguese Nuno Borges were defeated by the pair Yuki Bhambri (India)/Michael Venus (New Zealand), 6-4, 2-6, 10-4, on Friday evening, in the quarterfinals of the doubles event of the Tiriac Open (ATP 250) tournament, with total prizes of 612,620 euros and hosted by the ''Simona Halep'' National Tennis Center in Bucharest.
Cornea and Nuno Borges lost after an hour and 25 minutes to the number three seeds.
The Romanian-Portuguese pair won a cheque for 5,650 euros and 45 ATP points in doubles.
