The electronic platform eLicitatii.anaf.ro, launched on Monday by the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF), registered over one million accesses in the first hours of the day, announced the Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare.
"Over 1 million accesses in the first hours on eLicitatii.anaf.ro - the electronic platform launched today by ANAF for the sale of seized goods by public auction. The digitalization of the tax administration does not only respond to a real need of society - it is a mandatory and irreversible process", the minister wrote on his Facebook account.
According to him, the launch of the platform, carried out by ANAF together with the Ministry of Finance, marks the transition from a set of limited and bureaucratic procedures to a digital system, open and accessible to all.
"The high interest registered in the first hours after the launch is also a clear indicator that Romanians want more transparency and easy access to public information. From today, any person who accesses eLicitatii.anaf.ro can consult the goods put up for auction by ANAF, can follow the process and can participate under equal conditions, without administrative or geographical barriers. It is a new concrete step towards a modern, transparent tax administration, which offers non-discriminatory access to information of public interest. The digitalization of the advertising and sale processes of goods seized by ANAF means not only efficiency, but also traceability and fairness - essential elements of transparency and for the responsible use of public resources. Therefore, we will continue to accelerate the adoption process of digital solutions that bring the state closer to the citizen. The digital transformation of the administration is no longer an option, but an irreversible direction of development", the minister said.
The National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF), together with the Ministry of Finance, launched on Monday the digital platform eLicitatiiANAF for the advertising and sale of goods seized in both criminal and fiscal matters and those that have entered, according to the law, into the private property of the state.
