The National Meteorological Administration (ANM) issued a Code Yellow nowcasting warning for fog and icy conditions on Wednesday, valid in the coming hours in several areas of 18 counties, according to Agerpres.
According to meteorologists, fog will occur, leading to reduced visibility, locally below 200 metres and in isolated areas below 50 metres, favouring the formation of ice, until 11:00 in areas of Constanta and Tulcea counties, and until 12:00 in localities in the counties of Bacau, Botosani, Suceava, Galati, Neamt, Iasi, Vaslui, Brasov, Mures, Harghita, Sibiu, Gorj, Olt, Dolj, Arges and Cluj.
Warnings for immediate dangerous phenomena (nowcasting) are issued for a maximum period of six hours, the ANM mentioned.
