The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed higher Tuesday's trading session and the total trading was 203.56 million lei (39.94 million euros).

The most liquid shares were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 40.53 million lei, followed by OMV Petrom shares - 27.45 million lei and Romgaz shares - 19.17 million lei.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+13.18%), Carbochim (+6.72%) and MedLife (+6.64%).

The biggest declines were recorded by UAMT (-12.96%), IAR Brasov (-8.16%) and Condmag (-7.41%).

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.62%, up to 27,627.97 points. BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed up by 0.60%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, gained 1.08%, while BET-NG, which measures the evolution of the ten energy and utility companies, registered an advance of 0.09%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, appreciated by 0.67%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, closed up by 0.66%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, recorded an advance of 1.17%.
