Romania has a sustainable economic growth, a thing proven by the figures which show that, at a number of full-time employees approximately equal with the one of 2018, in 2017 we generate a nominal GDP by 71 billion euro higher compared to 2018, Prime Minister Mihai Tudose says.
"In the third quarter (July- September 2017), Romania, with 8.6 percent, recorded the highest economic growth of the European Union, according to Eurostat. This economic growth is the result of all Romanians' work and fair companies of this country. In order to prevent the reaction of the wailers choirs, I say with all the responsibility that we have a sustainable economic growth. The figures say it: although we have a number of full-time employees approximately equal with the one of 2018, in 2017 we generate a nominal GDP higher by 71 billion euro compared to 2018," Mihai Tudose wrote on Tuesday on his Facebook page.
According to the preliminary data published on Tuesday by the the European Statistical Office (Eurostat), Romania recorder in Q 3 of 2017, the most significant increase of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) out of the 28 member states of the EU, of 8.6 percent compared to the similar period of 2016.
According to Eurostat, the GDP of the eurozone and the EU increased in an annual pace by 2.5 percent compared to the similar period of 2016.
The highest growths of the EU between July - September 2017 were recorder in Romania (8.6 percent), Latvia (6.2 percent), the Czech Republic and Poland (both 5 percent). AGERPRES .
