The pre-completed Single Declaration and the 3% bonus for compliant individuals are two concrete measures for digitalisation and simplification of interaction with the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF), Finance Minister Alexandru Nazare said in a post on his Facebook page on Wednesday.
"The pre-completed Single Declaration and the 3% bonus for compliant individuals are two concrete measures for digitalisation and simplification of interaction with ANAF. The Single Declaration (212) is now pre-completed with the tax data available in the fiscal administration's system, including income reported by third parties. Self-employed individuals, those earning income from rents or from copyright must only check the information, correct it if necessary and submit the declaration," the minister wrote.
He explained that for users of the Virtual Private Space (SPV) with a username and password, the data are filled in automatically directly in the form.
For users who authenticate with a digital certificate, the reports containing the pre-completed tax data are available in the "Messages" section of the SPV before submitting the declaration.
Alexandru Nazare believes that the simplified digital approach brings a number of direct benefits, such as reducing the time needed to complete the declaration, lowering the risk of errors and increasing transparency in the relationship between taxpayer and tax administration.
The minister also mentioned that 15 April 2026 is the deadline for filing and paying income tax, with a 3% bonus for all those who meet this deadline, while 25 May 2026 is the general deadline for submitting the Single Declaration (form 212).
"Simplifying the interaction between taxpayers and the tax administration remains a priority. Every digital tool we implement must deliver concrete results: less bureaucracy, clearer procedures and a more efficient relationship between the state and citizens," the Finance Minister concluded.
