Bucharest stocks going up in session opening

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Tuesday's session higher, with turnover amounting to 13.37 million lei (2.62 million euro) after 40 minutes from the start of trading.

The main BET index, which tracks the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an increase of 0.46%, while the BET-Plus index, which reflects the performance of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, posted a rise of 0.47%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, covering the 25 most liquid stocks, gained 0.43%, while the benchmark for investment fund returns, BET-BK, rose 0.64%.

The BET-FI index of financial investment companies recorded an increase of 0.38%, while BET-NG, the index of the ten companies in the energy and utilities sector, posted an advance of 0.35%.

As for the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, it was up 0.19%.

According to BVB data, the biggest increases in share value were recorded by Energopetrol Company (+14.29%), Uztel (+10%) and Erste Group Bank (+5.42%).

On the other hand, shares in SIF Hoteluri (-5.41%), Promateris (-4.17%) and Casa de Bucovina - Club de Munte (-3.64%) were declining.
