The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania (CCIR) is organizing an economic mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on January 26 - 29.
According to a press release from the CCIR, the Romanian delegation, led by the President of the Chamber, Mihai Daraban, brings together 12 companies from strategic fields such as agriculture, beekeeping, consulting, legal services, IT, wood products export, aviation and architecture.
Before the official opening of the Romania-Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Business Forum, Daraban had bilateral meetings with top representatives of the Saudi business milieu, including Mohammed S. Mutabagani, President of the Saudi Arabia-Romania Business Council, and Emad Sadad Al Fakhri, First Vice President of the Federation of Saudi Chambers of Commerce. The discussions focused on intensifying institutional dialogue and identifying concrete opportunities for bilateral cooperation, given the complementary economic potential of the two markets.
"The CCIR's initiative to organize this business forum represents the continuation of our sustained efforts to consolidate bilateral relations and promote the Romanian business community, by mediating the dialogue between Romanian companies, Saudi Government decision-makers and representative companies from sectors of activity with high growth potential. This forum lays the foundations for future cooperation aimed at promoting the competitiveness of Romanian companies on Middle Eastern markets and sparking the interest of Saudi investors in large-scale sustainable projects. Romanian companies have the experience and capacity to become valuable partners for the Saudi economy in its modernization and diversification process," the CCIR president said in a release.
