The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed the trading session of the week higher on all indices, with total trading of 162.03 million lei (31.83 million euros), down from the value recorded in the previous session, respectively 168.15 million lei (33.04 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which reflects the evolution of the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, increased by 1.03%, up to 27,375.08 points, and the BET-Plus index, which tracks the performance of the 43 most liquid shares, recorded a similar appreciation.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed up 1.50%, while the BET-NG index, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, rose by 1.03%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, rose 1.15%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, gained 2.90%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed up 0.23%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 26.83 million lei, followed by Hidroelectrica shares - 15.33 million lei, and Fondul Proprietatea - 13.42 million lei.
The best developments were recorded by the shares of Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+14.91%), IAR Brasov (+14.83%) and Electroaparataj (+12.86%).
The most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Mecanica Ceahlau (-14.29%), Prefab (-11.45%) and Grupul Industrial Electrocontact (-11.11%).
