Turnover of market services provided to enterprises, up 8.4pct in seven months

The turnover of market services mainly provided to enterprises increased by 8.4pct in unadjusted terms in the first seven months of 2018 compared to the similar period of 2017 due to the increase in information technology services (+10.6pct), according to the data with the National Institute of Statistics made public on Friday. 

Increases were also recorded for other services provided mainly to enterprises (+10.4pct), communications (+7.4pct), transport (+ 6.3pct) and cinematographic, video, television programs and broadcasting of programmes (+6.2pct). 

In terms of series adjusted to the number of working days and seasonality, the turnover of market services mainly provided to enterprises increased by 9.4pct as a result of increases in other services mainly provided to enterprises (+11pct), computer and information technology (+ 8.3pct), transport (+7.3pct), communication activities (+7.3pct) and cinematographic, video, television programs and broadcasting of programmes (+6.1pct).
