British band Humour, one of the most interesting acts on the UK's post-hardcore and post-punk scene, will perform for the first time in Bucharest on March 17 at Control Club, starting at 9:00 p.m.
According to a press release sent to AGERPRES on Thursday, the concert is part of Humour's European tour and marks their first meeting with audiences in Romania.
The evening will open at 8:00 p.m. with Bucharest-based band Air Lines.
Originally from Glasgow, Humour was formed during the 2021 lockdowns, when the band members began writing and recording music at home, building tracks that serve as a backdrop for the incisive lyrics of vocalist Andreas Christodoulidis.
The band's latest release, debut album "Learning Greek" (2025), has been described by music press as "a panic attack in slow motion".
Opening the concert will be Air Lines, an up-tempo noise band from Bucharest founded by Augustin Nicolae (distorted bass and vocals) together with producer Stefan Lazarica.
Tickets priced at 60 lei (presale) and 70 lei (general sale) are available online at control-club.ro, through the Eventbook network and at the entrance on the evening of the event.
