The candidates of the PSD - PNL Alliance for the sector municipalities promised, on Thursday, at an electoral event organized by the social democrats, which ended the campaign for the June 9 elections, development in a better Bucharest and even rebuilding, "bringing to light" or concluding some "experiments" in some sectors of the capital city, told Agerpres.
The candidate for the District 1 City Hall, George Tuta, said that his name "became synonymous with 'Go Home Clotilde Armand','' the current mayor.
"I think it's time to show everywhere in the capital city that we have a European capital city not only through the beautiful and smart people we have, but through the results the administration has for the citizens", said George Tuta.
Sector 2 will have a new beginning and will be changed for the better, declared the candidate of the PSD-PNL Alliance for the position of mayor of this sector, Rares Hopinca. He promised that "the experiments end on June 9".
"Let's make Sector 2 a standard sector of Bucharest, a place where you like to live, where you like to go out with friends, with family, with children, a place in line with people's hopes, a place to call with joy "at home", the candidate said.
The mayor of Sector 3, Robert Negoita, said, for his part, that he is very proud of Daniel Baluta, his colleague from Sector 4, and emphasized that it is possible to collaborate between the administrations of the sectors.
The mayor of Sector 4, Daniel Baluta, criticized the Bucharest mayor Nicusor Dan, and expressed his belief that, after Sunday's elections, Gabriela Firea will begin her second term at the General City Hall of Bucharest.
"Here, today, it's not about me, it's about you, it's about you and us. That's who we are, the social democrats, we know how to think about others, we know how to be united when it's needed", argued Baluta.
The PSD - PNL candidate for the position of mayor of Sector 5, Adrian Vigheciu, promised that six mandates will not be needed for this sector to be brought to light.
"We started this campaign in an ice rink, at minus a few degrees, and we're ending it in a tropical forest where we showed that we all resisted with stoicism," Vigheciu said.
