The Ministry of Health informs that a sixth case of monkeypox was diagnosed in Romania on Thursday.
According to the Ministry, it is about a 40-year-old male.
He showed up in a clinic in Bucharest, and lab investigations confirmed on Thursday that the patient is infected with monkeypox, the quoted source specifies.
The man is in the hospital and will remain in isolation.
An epidemiological investigation was launched for establishing his direct contacts.AGERPRES
