A number of 4,534 people infected with SARS-CoV-2 are hospitalized in the country's health units, of whom 387 are children, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) announced on Wednesday.
According to the GCS, 530 patients are hospitalized in the ICU and 13 are children.
Of the patients admitted to intensive care, 57 have a certificate attesting to vaccination against COVID.
According to the data available in the alerte.ms application, at national level, there are 1,671 ICU beds for COVID-19 patients, of which 407 in Bucharest.
In Romania, 76,758 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are in isolation at home, and 4,296 in institutional isolation.
Also, 71,527 people are in quarantine at home and 60 in institutional quarantine.
In the last 24 hours, 6,163 calls were registered to the emergency number 112 and 562 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), open especially for informing citizens.
