The Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Tourism (MEAT) has accepted five partnership offers out of 11 submitted by credit institutions interested in implementing the state aid scheme in the field of tourism, public catering and events, the ministry announced on Thursday.
The accepted offers belong to the credit institutions: CEC Bank, BRD Groupe Societe Generale, Banca Romaneasca, Banca Transilvania and Romanian Commercial Bank.
"Following the process of analysis and selection of offers received from credit institutions, the commission found the following: a total of 11 partnership offers from credit institutions were registered. Out of a total of 11 offers, 4 of them do not meet the criterion of having at least one branch in each county and in an offer the fulfillment of this criterion was not specified, so that the 5 institutions will receive a rejection decision. Three of the 11 received offers do not meet the criterion of presenting MEAT the collaboration offer until 16.06.2021 at 17.00, by email at dgas@economie.gov.ro, electronically signed. Considering the above mentioned, 5 (five) partnership offers are accepted, these fulfilling the requirements and the specific criteria for the implementation of the program", reads the MEAT release sent to AGERPRES.
According to MEAT, it is about the analysis and selection of partnership offers of the interested credit institutions in order to implement the state aid scheme provided by the Emergency Ordinance no. 224 of 2020 on some measures for granting financial support for the field of tourism, public catering and events, whose activity was affected in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, with subsequent amendments and completions.
