A total of 16,760 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 have been reported in the past 24 hours, double compared to the figure recorded the previous day, and 70 deaths have been reported, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) informed on Tuesday.
"According to the data available at the CNCCI level on January 18, at 10.00 am, 16,760 cases of positive people with SARS-CoV-2 have been recorded in the past 24 hours, and 70 deaths, 5 of which occurred previous to the reference interval, but were only recorded now,'' informed the GCS.
