The report of the Justice Minister on the Prosecutor General's managerial activity does not comply with the legal provisions in force, and with the international and national standards on the activity of the Public Prosecution Office, and runs counter to the the jurisprudential direction outlined by both international bodies and the Constitutional Court of Romania, argues the Prosecutors' Section of the Superior Council of the Magistrates (CSM) in their motivation of the negative opinion issued on the Justice Minister's proposal to remove Prosecutor General Augustin Lazar from office.
