As of September 15, 2025, the National Bank of Romania will put into circulation, for numismatic purposes, a silver coin marking 125 years since the birth of author Henriette Yvonne Stahl.
The coin will show on the obverse a graphic composition displaying the titles of Henriette Yvonne Stahl's literary works, the inscription 'ROMANIA' in an arc, the year of issue '2025', the coat of arms of Romania and the face value '10 LEI'.
On the reverse side, the coin will show the portrait, the name and signature of Henriette Yvonne Stahl, as well as her birth and death years '1900' and '1984'.
The silver coins are housed in transparent plastic capsules and are accompanied by booklets featuring a presentation of the numismatic issue and certificates of authenticity in Romanian, English and French. The certificates of authenticity bear the signatures of the Governor and the Chief Cashier of the National Bank of Romania.
The maximum mintage is 5,000 silver coins.
The selling price for the silver coin, including the booklet and the certificate of authenticity, is lei 620.00, VAT excluded.
The coins are put into circulation, for numismatic purposes, through the regional branches of the National Bank of Romania in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Craiova, Iasi and Timisoara.
