Bucharest Stock Exchange closes Wednesday's session upwards

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Wednesday's session upwards, with a transaction value of RON 219.204 million (44.181 million euros), told Agerpres.

The main BET index appreciated by 1.98%, up to the value of 13,476.21 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the development of the most liquid 37 shares on the Stock Exchange, saw an increase of 1.94%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, rose by 1.78%, and the index of SIFs, BET-FI, gained 1.36%.

The BET-BK index, the yield benchmark of investment funds, ended the session up by 1.29%, and the BET-NG, which measures the evolution of the ten energy and utility companies, recorded an increase of 1.04%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed the session down, recording a 0.36% depreciation.

On the Regulated Market, the most traded were the shares of Fondul Proprietatea, with RON 123.497 million, followed by those of Romgaz, with RON 25.365 million, and the securities of Transilvania Bank, with RON 18.290 million.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+8.37%), followed by Bermas (+6.96%) and Patria Bank (+4.38%).

On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by the shares of Prefab (-5.06%), Safetech Innovations (-4.14%) and Turism, Hotels, Restaurants Marea Neagra (-3.45%).
