260 COVID-19 patients admitted to hospitals, 4 deaths, in the last week

The Ministry of Health informs that 260 people with COVID-19 are hospitalized in health units.

According to the Ministry of Health, 37 patients are admitted in ICU, 23 of whom are unvaccinated against SARS-CoV-2, Agerpres reports.

Of the total number of patients currently admitted, 23 are minors, 21 are admitted to wards and two to ICU.

In the last week, four deaths (three men and one woman) were reported by the National Institute of Public Health (INSP), the ministry said.

Two deaths were recorded in the 70-79 age category and two in the over 80 age category.

All deceased patients had comorbidities and were not vaccinated against COVID.

To date, 68,253 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died in our country.
