The laboratories of the Transilvania University of Brasov (UniTBv) will open to the general public on Friday afternoon within a new edition of the Researchers' Night event, offering visitors the chance to explore the future of technology and professions in a world where artificial intelligence plays a central role.
Under the theme "The occupations of the future in the age of artificial intelligence," visitors are invited to discover the world of science through unique experiments and interactive demonstrations, competitions with prizes, games and exhibitions, as well as presentations of research activities, according to an UniTBv release issued on Tuesday.
"Young people passionate about exact sciences will be able to participate in math and chess competitions, while those interested in healthcare and sports will discover exercises and tests that challenge their agility, balance and physical condition. Visitors will also enjoy hands-on experiences in the medical area, where medical students will demonstrate simple, but essential life-saving techniques. The event is also an unique opportunity to see research equipment, intelligent electronic systems, neuromarketing applications and to understand how technology is entering all areas of life," according to the release.
As in previous editions, the event will feature interactive stands from the University's partners in the economic sector and non-governmental organizations, as well as local emergency services displaying their intervention technique.
Those interested are invited to the University's Research-Development Institute, with free access.
