Turnover in vehicles and motorvehicles trade up 6.5 pct ten months into 2018

The volume of turnover for wholesale and retail trade, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles grew by 6.5% in gross series in the first 10 months of 2018 compared to the similar period in 2017, and also the volume of turnover for market services rendered to the population, which advanced as gross series by 5.6%, according to data published on Thursday by the National Institute of Statistics (INS). 

Between January 1 and October 31, 2018, compared to the period January 1 to October 31, 2017, the volume of turnover for retail and wholesale, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, adjusted series according to the number of business days and seasonality increased by 7.5%. 

The market services provided to the population, adjusted for the number of business days and seasonality, between 1 January and 31 October 2018, recorded a turnover increase of 5.1% compared to the similar period of 2017. 

According to INS, the volume of turnover for wholesale and retail trade, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, gross series, increased by 12.9%, in October 2018, compared to the previous month. 

Turnover volume for wholesale and retail trade, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, series adjusted by number of business days and seasonality, increased by 1.6%, in October 2018, compared to the previous month. 

As for the market services provided to the population, gross series, the turnover volume decreased by 3.6%, in October 2018, compared to the previous month. 

The volume of turnover for market services rendered to the population, adjusted for the number of business days and seasonality, decreased by 0.3%, in October 2018 compared to the previous month. 

In October 2018, compared to October 2017, the turnover for wholesale and retail trade, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, gross series, grew by 3.4%. 

The turnover volume for wholesale and retail trade, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, series adjusted by working days and seasonality, increased by 1.1%, in October 2018 compared to October 2017. 

The market services rendered to the population, gross series, recorded a turnover increase of 6.4%, in October 2018, compared to October 2017. 

The market services provided to the population, adjusted series according to the number of business days and seasonality, increased by 5.9% in October 2018, compared to October 2017.
