Trade of motor vehicles, services to the population advances in Romania, Jan.-April, 2018

Wholesale and retail trade, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles in Romania, unadjusted series, increased by 9pct in the first four months of 2018, while services provided to the population posted an increase of 6.8pct, according to the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
Adjusted for working days and seasonality, the increase was 10.5pct. 

Market services provided to the population, unadjusted series, were 6.8pct over the same period in 2017. When adjusted, the increase was 6.3pct. 

In April, as against March 2018, wholesale and retail, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, unadjusted series, advanced 0.4pct; when adjusted, the growth was 8.5pct. 

As for the market services provided to the population, unadjusted April 2018 series as against the previous month, their increase was 1.6pct. In adjusted terms, the increase was 2.5pct. 

Compared with the same month of 2017, the April 2018 volume of wholesale and retail trading, maintenance and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles, unadjusted series, increased by 16.5pct; om adjusted terms, there was an increase of 18.7pct. 

Market services provided to the population, unadjusted series, advanced 7.1pct from April 2017. The increase was 6pct, when adjusted for working days and seasonality.
