The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed Tuesday's session lower and the value of transactions exceeded 45.29 million lei (8.92 million euros).
The most liquid shares were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 8.07 million lei, followed by Hidroelectrica shares, with 5.68 million lei, and those of OMV Petrom, with 3.56 million lei.
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.65%, to the value of 20,644.54 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed in the red by 0.64%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded a decline of 0.62%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, depreciated by 0.29%.
Also, the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed down by 0.48%, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, fell by 0.75%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, recorded a decline of 0.29%.
The best developments were recorded by Conted shares (+8.47%), the Globinvest Energy&Financials ETF Open-Ended Investment Fund (+2%) and Romcarbon (+1.09%).
On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by Artego shares (-7.56%), Sinteza (-5.96%) and Carbochim (-5.52%).
