Reigning national champion Simone Tempestini claimed his sixth consecutive victory at the Sibiu Rally, the fourth stage of this year's National Rally Championship.
The team of Simone Tempestini/Carmen Poenaru (Skoda Fabia RS Rally 2) completed the race in 1 hour 26 minutes and 5 seconds, followed by brothers Norbert and Francesca Maior (Citroen C3 Rally 2) who finished 2 min 56.9 sec behind the leaders, and the duo Andrei Girtofan/Tudor Marza (Skoda Fabia RS Rally 2), who trailed them by 4 min 30.2 sec, agerpres reports.
The tenth edition of the Sibiu Rally ended with a superspecial stage held in the city center (Union Square), after a five-year break, which was again won by Tempestini.
Simone Tempestini dominates the overall drivers' standings, having won the latest three stages of the season.
With stage five of the National Rally Championship - the Moldova Rally - canceled, the season will continue with the Iasi Rally (September 6-7).
