A delegation of Romanian MPs led by Senate President Mircea Abrudean is on an official visit to Poland on Tuesday and Wednesday.

He added that the talks also focused on joint support for Ukraine, now in the fourth year of war, as well as on the implementation of the Romania-Poland cooperation agreement in the defence industry signed in 2023.
"Romania has a reliable partner in Poland. Our parliamentary cooperation is excellent, and during today's visit by the parliamentary delegation we agreed on the need to intensify relations and discussions within the friendship groups and the joint committees on defence, economic affairs, foreign policy and the budget, with a view to the future multiannual financial framework," Abrudean added.
