Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu met on Thursday at the Victoria Palace of Government with Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, with the sides underscoring during talks the two states' strong cooperation within the EU and their joint interests, particularly as far as the security of NATO's eastern flank is concerned.

"Talks with Polish FM Sikorski emphasized strong cooperation within the EU & shared interests, especially on NATO's eastern flank security. We strengthen our partnership & support the goal of the Polish EU presidency of a stronger EU," Marcel Ciolacu wrote in a post on the government's X page.
