Ana Birchall on Friday submitted her independent candidacy for the presidential elections to the Central Electoral Bureau.

The Central Electoral Bureau for the election of the President of Romania in 2024 (BEC) informed, in a press release, that Ana Birchall's independent candidacy was registered, together with the electoral sign that will be used in this year's elections.

"Romania is tired of circus, of lies, impostures, incompetence and propaganda, so we should start making quality, true politics, in the service of the people. And I also want to say to those who believe that this (...): here I am in front of you, more prepared than ever. I managed to collect the signatures and come before you, presenting myself as a valid and serious candidate and I don't play with the Romanians' hopes. I really do want to heal Romania and I won't stop working towards this," said Birchall on this occasion.

She said that her CV clearly shows that he is "a very prepared candidate for the presidency of Romania."

Birchall thanked those who supported her unconditionally. "It was not easy, I went through a media boycott, but I have reached this moment when my candidacy is officially submitted," she added.

The deadline for the final submission of applications is October 10, 2024.
