A possible gov't ordinance on amnesty and pardon would be a very serious error for Romania, on Tuesday reiterated president Klaus Iohannis, in Vienna, Austria.
"It would be a serious error. Such an ordinance on amnesty and pardon would be a very serious error for Romania," the president said when quizzed on what he could do if such an ordinance occurred on the additional agenda of the government as it happened before with the Government Emergency Ordinance (OUG) No 13.
Furthermore, asked whether he is considering a referendum on the laws of justice, President Klaus Iohannis answered: "We will certainly talk again about that referendum."
President Klaus Iohannis attends in Vienna the High-Level Forum Africa-Europe (17-18 December).
