President Klaus Iohannis says that 8 March - the International Women's Day - means love, gratitude and respect.
"The 8 March Day is love, gratitude and respect. Many happy returns of the day to all women!" the President wrote on Tuesday on his Facebook page.
A photo of the head of state and his wife Carmen is attached. The photo was shot in the courtyard of the Bucharest International Henri Coanda Airport before taking off to their first state visit of the presidential term, to Israel and Palestine.
