President Nicusor Dan said on Monday that the measures to narrow the government deficit in Romania are provisional.
"I want to tell Romanians that it is a provisional issue, that Romania has economic potential. As I have said several times, at the end of 2026, if we don't make mistakes, we will join the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), which will make Romania interesting to foreign investors," Dan told a news conference at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace, potrivit Agerpres.
