The National Political Bureau of the PNL decided on Thursday that the elected mayor of the capital, Ciprian Ciucu, would take over the coordination of the PNL Bucharest branch.
The decision was made at the proposal of the party's president, Ilie Bolojan, a PNL press release states.
Ciprian Ciucu, first vice-president of the party, is to conduct an analysis of the liberal sector organizations (sectors 2, 3, 4 and 5) by the end of January 2026 and propose measures to improve their functioning.
Also, the elected mayor of the Capital will coordinate the liberal group of advisors in the General Council of Bucharest Municipality and has received the PNL mandate to negotiate with the other political parties at the level of the Capital.
