Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher Monday's trading session and the total trading rose to 101.585 million lei (19.944 million euros), from 88.1 million lei (17.3 million euros)

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed the first trading session of this week higher on almost all indices, and the total trading rose to 101.585 million lei (19.944 million euros), from 88.1 million lei (17.3 million euros), on Friday.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.46%, up to 27,373.57 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the exchange, also closed up by 0.45%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, rose 0.54%, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, registered an advance of 0.11%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, appreciated by 0.42%, while the BET-FI, the SIF index, closed up by 0.61%.

On the other hand, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, depreciated by 0.34%.

The most liquid stocks were Hidroelectrica shares, with transactions of 16.188 million lei, followed by OMV Petrom shares - 11.579 million lei and Fondul Proprietatea shares - 8.719 million lei.

The best developments were recorded by Transilvania Broker de Asigurare shares (+10.10%), Promateris (+5.80%) and Fondul Proprietatea (+3.94%).

The most significant decreases were recorded by Turbomecanica shares (-4.66%), Altur (-3.94%) and Condmag (-3.57%).
