Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu in a message on Constitution Day said that the Fundamental Law remains the guarantor of the stability of political and institutional life, Agerpres reports.
"On Constitution Day, I reaffirm the government's commitment to promoting constitutional principles and supporting the institutional framework that ensures compliance with the Fundamental Law. Today, more than ever, the Fundamental Law remains the guarantor of the stability of political and institutional life, the balance of social peace in the nation, and the continuation of our European and Euro-Atlantic path," the prime minister said in his message.
Marcel Ciolacu also said that Romania needs strong laws and institutions "to defend its freedom, peace, and future."
