At the end of October 2018, the number of beneficiaries of special pensions stood at 9,171 persons, slightly on the increase, by 18 persons, as compared to the end of the previous month, according to data centralized by the National House of Public Pensions (CNPP).
Most of these, 3,611 respectively, were beneficiaries of Law 303/2004 on the status of prosecutors and judges. Their average pension was 17,132 lei (rd 3,676 EUR), out of which 15,897 lei was the share of the state budget and the difference from the state social insurance budget.
As many as 860 people benefited from r Law no. 216/2015 on the granting of the special pension to the members of the Romanian Diplomatic and Consular Corps. The average pension was 5,480 lei (rd 1,175 EUR), out of which 3,334 lei from the state budget.
As to the beneficiaries of Law 215/2015 for amending and completing the Law 7/2006 on the status of the civil servants, their number was 813, with the average pension amounting to 4,371 lei (2,654 lei from the state budget).
According to the cited source, the retired civil aviation staff in Romania benefited from an average pension amounted to 10,689 lei (rd 2,295 EUR), out of which 7,523 lei from the budget state.
