The number of deregistered firms at the national level has risen by 22.75% in January 2022, compared to the similar period of last year, up to 5,276, according to the statistics of the National Office of the Trade Register (ONRC).
By domains of activity, the highest number of deregistrations was recorded in retail, wholesale, and the reparation of vehicles and motorcycles - 1,459 (plus 23.43% compared to January 2021), construction - 473 (plus 22.22%), the manufacturing industry - 445 (plus 18.04%), professional, scientific, and technical activities - 429 (plus 13.79%).
