A number of 39,960 building authorizations for residential buildings were issued in the first eleven months of the year 2018, up 2.8 per cent against the same period of the previous year, reads the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
According to the same source, growths were recorded in the South-Muntenia development region (+418 authorizations), South-West Oltenia (+380), West (+316), Central (+146) and North-West (+134). Drops were recorded in the Bucharest-Ilfov (-442 authorizations) and North-East (-167) development regions.
In November 2018, there were issued 3,240 authorizations for residential buildings, 66,9 per cent of which for the rural area.
By regions, there was a drop recorded in the number of authorizations issued for residential buildings of 465, in the following development regions: South-Muntenia (-103 authorizations), North-West (-92), Central (-85), Bucharest-Ilfov (-45), South-East and South-West Oltenia (-44 each), North-East (-42) and West (-10).
In November 2018, compared with the same month of the previous year, there was recorded a drop in the number of building authorizations issued for residential buildings (-143 authorizations), which was reflected in the following development regions: Bucharest-Ilfov (-257 authorizations), South-Muntenia (-31) and South-West Oltenia (-20).
Growths were recorded in the following development regions: West (+58 authorizations), North-East (+57), South-East and Central (+21 each) and North-West (+8).
