HealthMin Bodog: I decided not to candidate for new term as Health Minister

Minister of Health Florian Bodog on Friday announced, before the meeting of the National Executive Committee (CExN) of the PSD (Social Democratic Party), that he decided not to candidate for a new term in office. 

"I made this personal decision not to candidate for a new mandate as Health Minister. I want to assure you that I will unconditionally support the next person who will take this office and that I will get sure the good things I started at the Ministry of Health (...) will continue and I will grant unconditional and direct support for that to happen, regardless of who will be in charge of the Ministry, said Bodog, before the meeting of the National Executive Committee (CExN) started. 

He showed that the CExN will decide who will take over. 

"What I did was just to inform the leadership of the party during the evening that I don't want to candidate," said Bodog.
