A number of 5,922 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 was registered in the past 24 hours and 31 deaths were reported in the same interval, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) informed on Friday, Agerpres reports.
"According to the data with the National Centre for Intervention Management and Coordination on January 7, 2022, at 10:00, 5,922 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 were registered in the past 24 hours. Furthermore, 31 deaths were registered. No previous deaths were reported," GCS pointed out.
