As many as 2.54 per cent of the electors showed up to the voting booths until 1 pm, according to the Central Electoral Bureau (BEC) released data.
The referendum on revising the Romanian Constitution in the sense of redefining family will take place on Saturday and Sunday, between 7 am and 9 pm.
