The salaries of the Bucharest National Airports Company (CNAB) employees will be indexed this year to the inflation rate, and the premiums and bonuses will be included in this year's budget projections, informs a company press release on Wednesday, Agepres reports.
The two decisions were made following talks that took place on Tuesday between the management of the Bucharest Airports National Company and the representatives of the four employees' trade unions.
"In the context of the company's turnaround, in 2021, as a result of the implementation of several cost-effective measures and given the assumptions of relaunching the air transport sector for the coming years, the following was decided: to include in the budget projections for 2022 all the rights (premiums and bonuses) provided for in the Collective Labor Agreement in force or at the level of the employees' individual labour contracts, salary indexation in step with the inflation rate, according to the provisions of the Collective Labor Agreement, indexation which was postponed in previous years as a result of the losses generated by the sharp decrease in passenger traffic," mentions the release.
At the same time, following the discussions with the unions, CNAB decided that the employees who had a significant contribution to the management of the special situations imposed by the additional COVID-19 measures should receive the bonus for airport activities.
According to the source, attending the meeting on Wednesday with the CNAB representatives were the Henri Coanda Union, the Baneasa Airport Independent Free Trade Union, the Bucharest Airports Union and the Bucharest Airports Company Union.
