The elected mayor of the capital, Ciprian Ciucu, announced on Tuesday that during this period he is studying the budgets, organizational charts, as well as the municipality's investment projects.
He stated, in a Facebook post, that he has chosen to be less present, these days, on social media or in the press, because he wants to leave things "in order" at the Sector 6 City Hall and to be as well informed as possible about the situation at PMB.
"The first task involves meetings and the deepening of tasks delayed due to the campaign. The second one involves that when I open my mouth on a subject related to the PMB, I have to master it very well. Whatever I say now may have consequences. It is a period in which I accumulate knowledge, study files, budgets and organizational charts, learn about litigations with budgetary impact, document myself regarding the maturity of the PMB's investment projects and those of dozens of subordinate institutions, and begin to sketch out solutions and priorities in my mind," explained Ciucu.
He said that he will be more present in the public space after the inauguration. Ciprian Ciucu mentioned that the exact moment when he will take the oath is not known due to legal-bureaucratic procedures.
"Out of respect for you, I want to present myself (even more) prepared and not talk nonsense. In order to formulate objectives and to set clear tasks for subordinate institutions, I have to prepare myself. The amount of information is immense. Otherwise, don't worry, I will be a present mayor! I will explain and argue every action I will take. I just ask that you give me a short period to delve deeper into what needs to be delved into. I start my days early and end them late," the elected mayor said.
