The Minister of Energy "is taking the model of his hierarchical boss", Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, believes AUR MP Stefanita Avramescu, who qualifies the USR request to call Bogdan Ivan to Parliament as "hypocritical".
"Today, Minister Bogdan Ivan should have come to the Chamber of Deputies to talk about the situation in Curtea de Arges, where people, tens of thousands of people, do not have drinking water. Like his hierarchical boss, Prime Minister Bolojan, we see that Mr. Ivan is taking over his model - that he does not come today, he comes next week and so on. However, the request from the USR to Mr. Ivan is at least hypocritical for two reasons, the USR together with the PSD have a majority in Curtea de Arges, and what is happening there can only be done with the support of the USR. We should have seen those from the USR much more vehemently at the local level, when it comes to the lives of so many people", declared the AUR deputy in a press conference.
Asked how he would comment on some information that has emerged in recent days regarding AUR, Avramescu said: "I did not sign, I did not pay, and I did not sue anyone in the United States. I did not pay lobbying firms and I did not sue anyone in the United States."
The Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan, will not be present in the plenary session of the Chamber of Deputies on Monday, during "Government Hour".
The Ministry of Energy has sent the Permanent Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies a request that the "Government Hour" debate be rescheduled for next week.
"We hereby inform you that, due to imperative and unforeseen personal reasons, Minister Bogdan Ivan will not be able to participate in the 'Government Hour' parliamentary meeting scheduled for February 9. In this regard, we ask you to analyze the possibility of rescheduling his participation in 'Government Hour' for February 16," the address sent by the Ministry of Energy states.
The Permanent Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies approved, last Wednesday, the request of the USR parliamentary group to call the Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan, to "Government Time", in the context of the drinking water crisis in Curtea de Arges.
