The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks opened mostly lower on Wednesday on trades of RON 2.4 million (EUR480,074) 30 minutes into the trading session.
The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks fell by 0.03%, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks declined 0.01%.
The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks lost 0.03%, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, was up 0.03%.
The BET-FI index of financial brokerage stocks decreased by 0.05%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, increased by 0.02%.
According to BVB, the top three risers were Condmag (+7.69%), Casa de Bucovina - Club de munte (+3.92%) and Chimcomplex (+3.11%).
On the other hand, the top three fallers were Romcab (-14.35%), Aerostar (-2.67%) and Simtel Team (-2.29%).
