The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Wednesday's session higher, with trading of 36.208 million RON (7.145 million EUR), inform Agerpres.
The most liquid stocks were those of OMV Petrom, with transactions of 8.1 million RON, followed by Banca Transilvania shares, with 4.5 million RON and TTS, with 1.8 million RON.
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, increased by 0.84pct, to 20,869.29 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed higher by 0.81pct.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an advance of 0.71pct, while the SIF index, BET-FI, went down 0.30pct.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, rose by 0.61pct, while the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, recorded an increase by 1.16pct.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, recorded an increase of 0.16pct.
The best developments were recorded by Prefab shares (+6.72pct), STK Emergent (+5pct) and Carbochim (+4.23pct).
On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Ropharma (-4.49pct), Sinteza (-3.85pct) and Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (-1.60pct).
