The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Tuesday's trading session lower on almost all indices, with total trading of 166.37 million lei (32.68 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.05%, to 26,328.79 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed down by 0.06%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed down 0.06%, while BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, rose 0.35%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, fell 0.01%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, fell 0.63%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed up 1.42%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 23.44 million lei, followed by OMV Petrom shares - 17.86 million lei, and Romgaz - 13.94 million lei.
The best developments were recorded by the shares of Armătura (+8.33%), Biofarm (+7.06%) and Transgaz (+6.24%).
The most important decreases were recorded by the shares of Societatea de Constructii Napoca (-14.71%), Electroaparataj (-12.50%) and Conted (-6.86%).
