The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Monday's trading session lower on most indices, and the exchanges amounted to 76.815 million RON (15.14 million euros).
The most liquid shares were those of DIGI Communications, with transactions totaling 40.1 million RON, followed by the shares of Fondul Proprietatea, with 3.57 million RON, and those of Banca Transilvania, with 3.05 million RON.
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.37%, to 20,695.03 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed in the red by 0.34%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded a decline of 0.23%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, increased by 0.98%, compared to the previous day.
Also, the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed up 0.01%, while the BET-NG index, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, fell 0.50%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, recorded an increase of 0.70%.
The best developments were recorded by the shares of the Electrocontact Industrial Group (+6.8%), Artego (+5.31%) and Turism Felix (+3.81%).
The most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of SIF Hoteluri (-4.55%), Chimcomplex Borzesti (-4.25%) and Condmag (-3.23%).
