The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed the first trading session of this week higher on almost all indices, with total trading of 1.397 billion lei (274.825 million euros), of which share transactions represented 68.152 million lei (13.404 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.30%, up to 23,511.68 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed up by 0.26, agerpres reports.
Also, the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed up 0.14%, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, rose 0.41%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an increase in value of 0.32%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, closed up 0.21%.
On the other hand, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, lost 0.16%.
The most liquid shares were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 10.54 million lei, followed by shares of Societatea Energetica Electrica - of 8.25 million lei, and those of OMV Petrom - 5.44 million lei.
At the same time, the best developments were recorded by shares of Sinteza (+9.38%), Promateris (+5.93%) and Romcarbon (+5.84%).
The most significant decreases were recorded by shares of Armatura (-14.48%), Green Tech International (-6.85%) and SIF Hoteluri (-6.48%).
