Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closes Monday's session in the green

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Monday's trading session with gains on most indices, and the total turnover amounted to 144.723 million RON (28.395 million euros), of which 104 million RON (20.425 million euros) were share transactions.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.87%, up to 29,446.57 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the stock exchange, closed with an increase of 0.89%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, increased by 0.85%, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, registered an advance of 0.61%.

The BET-XT extended blue-chip index, of the 25 most liquid stocks, appreciated by 0.81%, while BET-FI, the SIF index, closed down by 0.15%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, increased by 0.42%.

The most liquid securities were the shares of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 19.062 million RON, followed by those of OMV Petrom, with 18.075 million RON, and Hidroelectrica, with 10.728 million RON.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of Energopetrol (+14.67%), MF Capital (+8.11%) and Romcab (+5.41%).

The most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of AETA (-9.09%), Societatea de Constructii Napoca (-7.41%) and STK Emergent (-4.13%).
